The sports equinox has always been a thing, but it’s become early Christmas in the United States, with betting added to the mix.
On Monday, October 26th, the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL come together for one jam-packed evening. The Christmas Day lineup assembles some big matchups while unwrapping presents, but it doesn’t have this kind of volume.
For bettors, the attraction goes beyond having odds for four sports on television. Bovada offers player props, team props, live betting, and parlays for all events. Plus, Bovada Same Game Parlays lets players earn 3x Reward Points on qualifying bets with four or more selections.
Below is the full sports equinox schedule, followed by a preview of all the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL matchups and betting angles.

NFL: The Night’s Biggest Rivalry
Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles – 8:15 p.m. ET | ABC / ESPN
- NFL Odds available at Bovada now
- Spread: Eagles +4
- Moneyline: Cowboys -225; Eagles +185
- Total: 44
Philadelphia enters this rivalry without Jalen Hurts, who landed on injured reserve with a blood clot in his calf. Tanner McKee takes over, changing both the Eagles’ offensive outlook and the betting conversation.
Dallas has its own problems. Dak Prescott threw two interceptions in a 23-13 loss to Green Bay. Prescott and the Cowboys started hot on offense, but recent turnover issues have put them second-to-last in the NFC East.
For that reason, the Eagles are homedogs but only +4, as oddsmakers have struggled to nail down which Dallas team they’ll see on Monday night. Can Philadelphia stay close enough at home for its defense to influence the finish?
As for the total, it should rest on McKee’s ability to sustain drives. Short possessions could give Dallas extra scoring chances and turn it into a shootout or blowout. Without Hurts, the Eagles will try to sustain long drives to shorten the game, which will lean things under the total.
Prescott passing props deserve attention, but their appeal depends on game flow. A comfortable Dallas lead could shift play calls toward the run game. Conversely, a competitive fourth quarter would support more passing volume.
With running back Saquon Barkley out, Dameon Pierce will be the Eagles’ legs on the ground; unfortunately, he had an uninspiring 12-carry, 35-yard performance against Carolina.
MLB: World Series Game 3
*Game 3 Bovada MLB Odds available after World Series Game 2 on Saturday, October 24 at 8 p.m. ET
Milwaukee Brewers at Tampa Bay Rays – 8 p.m. ET | FOX / FOX One
Game 3 brings the World Series to Tampa Bay, with both franchises chasing their first championship. Milwaukee returns to the Fall Classic for the first time since 1982; the Rays previously appeared in 2008 and 2020. Brewers left fielder Jackson Chourio and Rays third baseman Junior Caminero give this matchup two young offensive stars who can change a game with one swing.
Milwaukee swept the Dodgers in the NLCS, while Tampa Bay eliminated Cleveland in six games.
Wait for confirmed starters before choosing a side or total. First-five-inning bets isolate more of the starting-pitching matchup, while full-game wagers include the bullpen. Games 1 and 2 will also show which relievers carry the heaviest workloads for Game 3.
Expect player props on RBIs, strikes, and more before the first pitch and during the game with live betting.
NBA: Nine Games, Plenty of New Looks
*Bovada NBA odds for all the below matchups will be available the night before the Monday matchups.
Washington Wizards at Charlotte Hornets – 7 p.m. ET
Charlotte’s reshaped offense meets a Washington team that averaged 15.6 turnovers last season. That said, the pressure’s on Washington with a rebuilt roster that includes Trae Young, Anthony Davis, center Alex Sarr, and No. 1 overall pick AJ Dybantsa.
Minnesota Timberwolves at Cleveland Cavaliers – 7 p.m. ET
LaMelo Ball and Anthony Edwards give Minnesota an intriguing backcourt combination. Cleveland counters with Donovan Mitchell and James Harden. Expect assists, turnovers, and a lot of points. Even if you miss on your bets, you’ll have a good time with this matchup.
Chicago Bulls at Boston Celtics – 7:30 p.m. ET
Jayson Tatum leads Boston into a matchup with Chicago’s developing roster. The Celtics’ execution should test the Bulls’ defensive discipline. For spread bettors, Chicago’s bench production could become especially valuable if Boston establishes an early lead.
Dallas Mavericks at Miami Heat – 7:30 p.m. ET | NBA TV
Cooper Flagg faces a demanding interior matchup against Miami’s new Giannis Antetokounmpo–Bam Adebayo pairing. If Flagg can fill the box score against Miami, no team in the league will be safe.
Indiana Pacers at Milwaukee Bucks – 8 p.m. ET
Tyrese Haliburton’s return gives Indiana its offensive engine again, while Milwaukee tries to fill an Antetokounmpo-sized void with guard Tyler Herro. This is one of those matchups where the underdog could surprise, as both teams will likely still be searching for consistency.
Phoenix Suns at Oklahoma City Thunder – 8 p.m. ET
Phoenix brings Devin Booker to face an Oklahoma City team opening the season as a championship favorite. The Thunder have the more talented roster; however, they’ll be playing back-to-back games for the first time all season.
Atlanta Hawks at Houston Rockets – 8:30 p.m. ET
Atlanta’s defensive additions make this an interesting test against Kevin Durant’s Rockets. Houston must create quality looks against improved perimeter resistance. Durant’s efficiency and Atlanta’s ability to disrupt passing lanes could shape both the spread and total.
Memphis Grizzlies at Utah Jazz – 9 p.m. ET
Memphis rookie Cameron Boozer meets a Utah backcourt featuring Darryn Peterson and Keyonte George. Last season, Utah’s amazing offense and questionable defense had them go over the total nearly 60% of the time, and with Memphis in the top 10 in overs as well this has the makings of a shootout.
Golden State Warriors at Denver Nuggets – 10 p.m. ET | Peacock / NBCSN
Stephen Curry and Nikola Jokić headline the late game. Golden State must balance defending Jokić with covering Denver’s shooters. Curry’s three-point props have extra juice with Denver allowing 116.9 points per game last year.
NHL: Three Matchups on the Ice
*Bovada NHL odds for all the below matchups will be available the night before the Monday matchups.
Los Angeles Kings at New York Rangers – 7 p.m. ET | NHL Network
Los Angeles’ difficult opening stretch makes this road assignment especially interesting. The Kings’ team total could offer more value than a straight-up wager.
Toronto Maple Leafs at Calgary Flames – 8:30 p.m. ET
Toronto just dropped six goals on Columbus, with Auston Matthews and William Nylander both scoring. Calgary needs to limit Toronto’s scoring chances while staying out of the penalty box against its dangerous power play. With the Leafs hot, team-total and individual-shot props deserve a look.
Detroit Red Wings at Edmonton Oilers – 9:30 p.m. ET
Detroit’s discipline is crucial against Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. Edmonton’s stars have already produced explosive performances this month. Unfortunately, Detroit may be gassed by the time they reach Edmonton; it’ll be their third straight game on Canada’s West Coast.
What Are Same Game Parlays?
Bovada’s Same Game Parlays (SGP) combine two or more selections from a single matchup into one wager. You can mix game outcomes with player props, and every selection must win for your parlay to cash in. When you click any matchup, you’ll see ‘SGP’ below the game odds, which takes you to the same game parlay options.
For an MLB example, you could combine:
- Milwaukee Brewers moneyline (-140)
- Jackson Chourio to record a hit (-200)
- Over 7.5 total runs (-110)
An NBA example could include:
- Nuggets moneyline (-150)
- Nikola Jokić to score 25 or more points (-180)
- Jokić to record eight or more assists (-160)
The sportsbook calculates a combined price based on your selections and how closely their outcomes are connected. Adding selections can increase the potential payout, but it also gives your bet more ways to lose. Review the combined odds before confirming your wager.
