Indiana brings a 22-game winning streak into Bloomington’s first top-five matchup. The Hoosiers beat Ohio State 13-10 in last year’s Big Ten title game but went 1-for-10 on third down in a 20-17 win over Nebraska as -9.5 road favorites. In fact, the defending champions have gone just 1-5 against the spread this year.
Ohio State, meanwhile, has been on a four-game winning streak behind generational wideout Jeremiah Smith.

Both teams are recovering from rivalry losses. Texas fell six poll positions after Arch Manning threw two late interceptions against Oklahoma; Florida has lost two straight, including 38-19 against South Carolina.

The key will be Alabama’s rising QB Keelon Russell; he’s slowed after a hot stretch but will dominate if Tennessee gets into a QB shootout.

- Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State: Indiana’s secondary presents a difficult matchup, but Smith caught eight passes for 144 yards against the Hoosiers in last season’s Big Ten Championship Game. He currently leads the conference with 916 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
- DeSean Bishop, RB, Tennessee: Bishop has 678 rushing yards and eight touchdowns with Alabama up next. Georgia’s backup running backs combined for 189 yards against the Crimson Tide.
- Arch Manning, QB, Texas: Florida’s pass rush presents a dangerous matchup for an inconsistent QB coming off two late interceptions. However, Manning still threw for 260 yards and three touchdowns against Oklahoma, and now faces a Gators team that has allowed 83 points over its past two games.
