College Football Week 4 Games to Watch
Saturday, Sept. 26: No. 1 Texas at No. 14 Tennessee – 12 p.m. ET ABC

This is the first on-campus meeting between the programs and Texas’ first true road game of 2026. Arch Manning engineered a 20-point comeback against Ohio State, but Neyland Stadium presents a different test for an offense that looked less explosive against UTSA. Tennessee counters with true freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon, who has six passing touchdowns, 137 rushing yards, three rushing scores, and no interceptions. Texas’ experienced front seven against Brandon’s mobility and Tennessee’s tempo could decide the game.
Saturday, Sept. 26: Oklahoma at No. 2 Georgia – 3:30 p.m. ET ESPN

Georgia is riding a 3-0 record against the spread (ATS), but Oklahoma is its first opponent with a top-5 defense that can slow their No. 1 offense. However, defense may have to do the heavy lifting; the Sooners followed a 17-10 loss at Michigan with an uninspiring 14-6 win over New Mexico.
Meanwhile, Georgia continues to overpower opponents with a potent ground game that dropped 254 yards on Arkansas; QB Gunner Stockton only needed 97 passing yards in a 45-17 win. Oklahoma has to control that ground game to have a shot at dealing Georgia its first ATS loss.
Saturday, Sept. 26: No. 4 Ole Miss at No. 21 Florida – 3:30 p.m. ET ABC

Ole Miss proved it’s still a force post-Kiffin by beating ranked Louisville and Kiffin-led LSU. But somehow, Florida is still the home favorite after posting a program-record 159 points through its first three games. Trinidad Chambliss has passed for 924 yards and seven touchdowns, including 363 yards against LSU. Florida running back Jadan Baugh has 458 yards and a national-best eight touchdowns.
Neither team has been particularly elite on defense, which makes the large total warranted. This could be a shootout.
Saturday, Sept. 26: No. 17 Iowa at No. 18 Michigan – 3:30 p.m. ET CBS

The low total reflects two defenses that rarely give you space. Iowa has exceeded 500 total yards twice, including over 400 yards rushing versus Northern Iowa. However, they now face one of the country’s best pass defenses, which climbed back up the ranks after a controversial Week 1.
Michigan QB Bryce Underwood has settled down since the chaotic opener, including a 76% completion percentage and two TDs versus UTEP.
Iowa needs to slow him down, force turnovers, and control field position to cover the +5.5.
Saturday, Sept. 26: No. 20 Oregon at No. 12 USC – 7:30 p.m. ET NBC

Oregon responded to its upset loss to Oklahoma State by destroying Portland State 84-0, while USC moved to 4-0 despite allowing 460 yards in a 42-35 win over Rutgers. That creates a clean matchup: Dante Moore and Oregon’s efficient passing game against a USC defense that has struggled to get off the field. Jayden Maiava gives the Trojans enough offense to answer, and USC has converted 30 of 46 third downs. The result should be an old-fashioned, PAC-10 shootout with the highest total on the Week 4 board.
Saturday, Sept. 26: No. 23 Texas A&M at No. 10 LSU – 7:30 p.m. ET ABC

Both teams are trying to prevent one September loss from becoming two. LSU erased a 24-7 halftime deficit at Ole Miss before Sam Leavitt’s late interception ended the comeback. Texas A&M was less competitive in its 31-21 home loss to Kentucky, which exposed problems on both sides of the ball. Marcel Reed’s mobility gives the Aggies a way to stress LSU’s defensive line, but A&M must prevent explosive plays and avoid an early deficit that let Kentucky dictate the pace.
Key Players to Watch in College Football Week 4
- Faizon Brandon, QB, Tennessee: The true freshman has six passing touchdowns, three rushing scores, and no interceptions. Texas will be his first SEC opponent and his first game against a defense that can consistently collapse the pocket.
- Trinidad Chambliss, QB, Ole Miss: Chambliss threw for 363 yards and accounted for three touchdowns against LSU. Florida’s 11 sacks through three games will test his protection and scrambling ability.
- Jadan Baugh, RB, Florida: Baugh is averaging 152.7 rushing yards and has eight touchdowns. Ole Miss can’t allow him to shorten the game and keep Chambliss off the field.
- Dante Moore, QB, Oregon: USC allowed 460 yards to Rutgers; Moore should be able to attack its secondary downfield with impunity. Oregon may need a Heisman-sized performance from him to win this shootout.
- Bryce Underwood, QB, Michigan: Underwood has improved since Week 1, but ball security remains a concern. Iowa is built to turn one mistake into points in a game with little scoring expected.
