Last week, we asked whether we were entering the midseason period, when coaching adjustments and injuries start providing even more parity. Well, that narrative still exists after the Las Vegas covered the eight-point spread by losing 10-7 to the Broncos on Thursday Night.
Miami blew out the Buffalo Bills 30-13 as eight-point dogs as well, and the New Orleans Saints upset the Carolina Panthers 17-7 as +5.5 underdogs. Check out the NFL odds for Week 11 to be prepared for potential upsets.

Thursday Night Football
New York Jets (2-7) at New England Patriots (8-2)
- Start: November 13 at 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video
- Spread: Patriots -11.5
- Moneyline: Patriots -850, Jets +550
- Total: 43.5
Since their inception, Thursday Night Football games have remained the “box of chocolates” of every NFL week. After exhausting themselves the previous Sunday, teams have to lick their wounds, hit an ice bath, and prepare for another battle four days later. What also makes Jets at Patriots a difficult handicap is that it’s a division battle, which has been known to be physical and intense.
That said, this is a double-digit spread for a reason. The Patriots have the favorite for MVP in quarterback Drake Maye, and the Patriots have proven to be the best overall squad in the AFC with a gutsy 28-23 over Tampa Bay last week. But the Jets have proven crafty of late, beating Cleveland 27-20 despite passing for only 54 yards. A win? Unlikely. Another TNF underdog cover due to fatigue? We’ll see.
Sunday Games
Chicago Bears (6-3) at Minnesota Vikings (4-5)
- Start: November 16 at 1 p.m. ET on FOX
- Spread: Vikings -3
- Moneyline: Vikings -165, Bears +140
- Total: 48
Bears QB Caleb Williams is showing his No. 1 pick pedigree, while Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy is drawing doubts about his ceiling at just 22. Still, Minnesota opened as a three-point home favorite, but it may have to rely on its defense to keep the Bears at bay.
The Vikings’ defense started strong last week against Baltimore, but J.J. McCarthy’s inaccuracy and turnovers helped the Ravens rally for a 27–19 win. Minnesota’s offense is converting just 32% on third down – one of the league’s worst marks – leaving the door open for Chicago to hang around on Sunday, much like they did against the Giants when they erased a 20–10 deficit with 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.
In this NFC North matchup, the Vikings hold the betting edge, going 4-1-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last six meetings.
Seattle Seahawks (7-2) at Los Angeles Rams (7-2)
- Start: November 16 at 4:05 p.m. ET on FOX
- Spread: Rams -2.5
- Moneyline: Rams -150, Seahawks +130
- Total: 48
Nobody expected the Seahawks to be here, but we could be looking at a future NFC Championship battle when they face the Los Angeles Rams. Both teams have dominated both sides of the ball. The Seahawks are an efficient play-action passing team that causes opposing QBs fits. They average 30.6 points per game while allowing just 19.1. The Rams, meanwhile, have an MVP candidate in QB Matthew Stafford and an elite defensive line; the offense averages 27.9 points while the D allows a second-best 17 points per game. Oddsmakers rightfully made this a close one with a 2.5-point spread. This is one of those back-and-forth contests that could go down to the final minute.
Kansas City Chiefs (5-4) at Denver Broncos (8-2)
- Start: November 16 at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS
- Spread: Chiefs -4
- Moneyline: Chiefs -210, Broncos +175
- Total: 44.5
We’re hoping this matchup clears the murky waters in which both these teams currently live. There was a belief that the Chiefs had regained their championship pedigree with three straight wins. But they put up a dud against Buffalo and appear outmatched against the NFL’s elite squads this season. The Broncos are a shocking 8-2 on the season and have won seven straight. But they scored just 10 points against the Raiders last week, and second-year QB Bo Nix appears to be regressing.
Oddsmakers are so unimpressed with the AFC West-leading Broncos that they’re four-point underdogs at home, unheard of for a team riding a huge win streak. That said, maybe they just understand that Chiefs coach Andy Reid is an assassin after the bye week; he’s won 21 of 25 games with a .840-win percentage, one of the best in NFL history.
