2025 College Football Week 11

NCAAF Week 11

In Week 10, the upset train continued, with SMU defeating No. 10 Miami 26-20 as double-digit ‘dogs, NC State bringing No. 8 Georgia Tech back to earth 48-36, and No. 18 Oklahoma beat No. 14 Tennessee at home 33-27. We could include No. 20 Texas based on its win over No. 9 Vanderbilt, but Texas was actually a -2 favorite in that contest.

So, where does that leave us for the NCAAF Week 11 odds? Desperation has set in for a lot of teams as Bowl Season approaches. Here are the best matchups.

No. 2 Indiana Hoosiers (9-0) at Penn State Nittany Lions (3-5)

  • Odds: Penn State +15
  • Total: 49
  • Time: 12 p.m. ET
  • FOX

The team that put team basketball on the map – whether it’s through legendary coach Bobby Knight or through a legendary film starring Gene Hackman – now has the highest AP football ranking in program history.
Indiana is in the driver’s seat with just three games versus unranked opponents left on their schedule. All they need to do is win the games they’re supposed to win, starting with Penn State.

Penn State’s fall from grace has been hard to miss, but its performance against No. 1 Ohio State should give pause to anyone eager to lay the 15 points with Indiana. The Nittany Lions trailed just 17–14 at halftime before eventually losing by 24 to the nation’s top defense. Indiana may boast the highest-scoring offense in college football (46.4 points per game), but questions remain about how wide the talent gap truly is between the Hoosiers and the Buckeyes.

No. 7 BYU Cougars (8-0) at No. 8 Texas Tech Red Raiders (8-1)

  • Odds: Texas Tech -10
  • Total: 52.5
  • Time: 12 p.m. ET
  • ABC

When BYU travels to Lubbock to face Texas Tech, it’ll be about who can impose their will in the trenches first. The Cougars moved up in the rankings with their top-15 rushing attack, averaging 216.6 yards per game; the Red Raiders are making a playoff push with their elite run defense, allowing a college-best 74.6 yards per game. Will BYU open the necessary holes to cover the 10-point spread, or will the Red Raiders smother the run and make the Cougars play from behind?

No. 9 Oregon Ducks (7-1) at No. 20 Iowa Hawkeyes (6-2)

  • Odds: Oregon -6.5
  • Total: 41
  • Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
  • CBS

Oregon is proof of how you can be the talk of college football one week and be largely ignored the next. The Ducks were riding high after beating Drew Allar and the Nittany Lions on a national stage: Quarterback Dante Moore was getting Heisman and top-draft pick hype, and they were as high as No. 2 in the rankings. But it all disappeared in a 30-20 loss to Indiana. And despite winning two straight since, their failure to cover as 31.5-point favorites against unranked Wisconsin has tumbled them down to No. 9 in the AP Rankings.

The Ducks need to prove they’re still playoff-worthy in the tumbling November temperatures of Iowa. While the Hawkeyes haven’t beaten a ranked opponent all year, it came close to dethroning Indiana, losing 20-15 after a fourth-quarter comeback.

No. 3 Texas A&M Aggies (8-0) at No. 22 Missouri Tigers (6-2)

  • Odds: Texas A&M -7
  • Total: 48
  • Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
  • ABC

While the rest of college football rides the AP rankings rollercoaster, Texas A&M has quietly climbed week by week – and their convincing 49–25 win over No. 20 LSU seems to have finally earned the pollsters’ trust. That trust, however, could evaporate quickly without a win and cover at Missouri. The Tigers may be longshots for the College Football Playoff (CFP), but they’ve proven to be resilient. Just ask No. 10 Vanderbilt, whose top-15 offense was held to only 17 points in a 17–10 Missouri loss. The Aggies can’t afford to overlook a team that thrives on making opponents uncomfortable.

LSU Tigers (5-3) at No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide (7-1)

  • Odds: Alabama -10
  • Total: 49
  • Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
  • ABC

Alabama returns to Tuscaloosa ranked No. 4, hosting an LSU team desperate to claw back into the CFP conversation. Since dropping their opener to Florida State, the Crimson Tide have found rhythm behind Heisman hopeful Ty Simpson and star receiver Ryan Williams. LSU, meanwhile, has spiraled after a 4-0 start, losing three of its last four as offensive struggles mounted. Once anchored by its defense, that unit unraveled in a 49-point collapse against Texas A&M last weekend – its worst showing of the season. The fallout was swift: Brian Kelly was fired, leaving the Tigers searching for direction with four games still to play.

Do we see an interim coach bump from the Tigers? Or does the Tide keep rolling undefeated through the SEC?
