Pittsburgh Steelers (-195) at Cleveland Browns (+165)
With a hard-fought win over the mighty Baltimore Ravens, the Pittsburgh Steelers head to Cleveland to face the Browns on Thursday Night Football.
The X factor could be fatigue. Will the Steelers be rolling into the Dawg Pound with momentum after that win, or will coming off that rough, physical game with just 4 days’ rest be too much to handle?
The Browns received a boost when Jameis Winston stepped in for Deshaun Watson as quarterback several weeks ago. However, Winston now faces a tough challenge against a Steelers defense that recently limited Lamar Jackson to just over 200 passing yards and held Derrick Henry to under 70 rushing yards. At 2-8 and coming off a disappointing 14-point performance against the Saints, the Browns’ offense lacks the same kind of playmaking ability that their opponents have been able to shut down.
On the other side of the ball, Pittsburgh might roll over a Browns’ D that just gave up huge plays to Taysom Hill and the Saints.
The Over/Under for this game is one of the lowest of the NFL season, at 38 points. But the Steelers have scored 26 or more themselves in 4 of their past 5 games. With tired defenses on both sides – and remember, Cleveland put up 29 in a win over the Ravens just 3 weeks ago – maybe the Over is worth a look.

San Francisco 49ers (+105) at Green Bay Packers (-125)
The classic San Francisco-Green Bay rivalry often happens in the NFL Playoffs, when the stakes are at their highest.
But both teams need this game badly if they want to win their respective divisions or even make the playoffs.
While you’re doing your 49ers-Packers preview work, be careful not to take last weekend’s game too seriously. The Packers needed a late blocked field goal to get the W, and the 49ers could have won except for a last-minute TD run by Seattle’s Geno Smith.
One concern is Packers’ QB Jordan Love and his turnovers. He has 11 INTs on the season already, the same amount he had all of last year. And the Niners are tied for 5th in the NFL with 11 interceptions.
On the other hand, moneyline bettors might like to look at Green Bay this weekend. The Pack is 7-3 this season when it comes to the moneyline, and they’re 7-3 in their last 10 games at Lambeau Field when San Francisco is in town.

Philadelphia Eagles (-160) at Los Angeles Rams (+135)
With both teams firmly in the hunt for a playoff spot, this Rams-Eagles game could be a shootout. Philly is looking to further lock down 1st in the NFC East and possibly grab first place in the entire NFC, while the Rams are still a legit wildcard contender.
Philly’s Saquon Barkley is having a monster season and is a leading contender for the NFL MVP award.
He and all his Eagles teammates are also coming off a mini-bye after their win on Thursday Night Football in Week 11, so fresher legs might be something to think about.
The Rams have won 4 of their last 5, and when QB Matthew Stafford is clicking with his receivers, they can rack up points in a hurry.
The X factor for this game could be Philadelphia’s rookie DB Quinyon Mitchell. He’s proving to be a shut-down corner, with zero receptions allowed last week and top-10 numbers all season. In a game against Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, his skills will be needed if Philly wants to keep the Rams off the scoreboard.

Arizona Cardinals (-115) at Seattle Seahawks (-105)
Coming off a gutsy win over NFC West rival San Francisco, the Seahawks host the division leader Cardinals in a key battle in this tight group.
Seattle QB Geno Smith now has 7 game-winning drives in the final minutes since the start of last season, which could bode well if this game is as close as the current spread (-1.0 Cardinals) suggests it will be.
His counterpart Kyler Murray is coming off a bye week and he’s getting a few whispers as a dark horse NFL MVP candidate. His QBR is 3rd in the NFL and he can break open a close game with his feet and his arm. The Cardinals are also on a 4-game winning streak.
An X factor for this game could be Cards’ TE Trey McBride. He’s averaging 11 yards a catch and leads the team in both catches and receiving yards. It’s only a matter of time before he starts to find the end zone too.

New England Patriots (+260) at Miami Dolphins (-320)
In yet another great division rivalry, the New England Patriots take on the Miami Dolphins in a game that means very different things to each team.
The Dolphins have returned to their high-performing offensive ways lately and are looking at an outside shot at the NFL playoffs. They’re on a 2-game win streak and barely lost to the powerful Bills just 3 weeks ago.
The Patriots are too far gone this season, but they’ve won 2 of their last 4 games after a rough start to the year.
Pats’ QB Drake Maye is improving every game, with his QBR increasing each week for the past 3 games. While the Dolphins’ offense might be too much to handle for New England’s D, Maye’s strong play could keep this game closer than their current +7.5 spread suggests.
New England has played in 6 games that have hit the Over this season. Couple that with the Dolphins having a healthy lineup of Achane, Hill, Mostert and QB Tua Tagovailoa, and this warm-weather matchup might see a lot of points on the board.
